2011 Wallingford Home Tour
“At Home in Wallingford”
Sunday, October 2nd, 2011
11am to 4pm
The Wallingford Home Tour in its 12th year is one of the events that brings out the neighborhood (and some visitors). Each year many current and former residents step out to see some of their favorite homes and catch up with old friends. Many new residents have a chance to meet their neighbors for the first time and home tour owners and “tourists” alike have a great time.
The home tour is hosted by the Wallingford Neighborhood Office and put on by a group of dedicated volunteers. Proceeds from the tour support the volunteer-staffed Wallingford Neighborhood Office and, in turn, all activities and projects facilitated through the office. Other activities include the Garden Tour, Spring Clean, the Seafair Kiddies Parade and the Family Festival.
The Wallingford Neighborhood Office is home to the Wallingford Community Council, the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce, and Weaving Wallingford. The office plays a vital roll in maintaining contact with City of Seattle agencies and funding, and in the overall health of our great neighborhood.
You are always welcome to stop by the Wallingford Neighborhood Office. It is located at 2100 N. 45th St. behind Tully’s Coffee. There you can see the calendar of events for all that is happening in the neighborhood. You can also sign up to receive the Wallingford E-news that regularly comes out to inform you of opportunities to have fun, share your skills and get the latest news on issues affecting the quality of life in Wallingford.
Tickets for the Wallingford Home Tour are $15 (children under 12 are free) and can be purchased on the day of the tour at:
- The Wallingford Neighborhood Office, 2100 N. 45th St. Suite A,
(206)632-3165; and - Tweedy & Popp Ace Hardware, 1815 N.45th St, Seattle, WA (in Wallingford Center) (206) 632-2290)
